The Ogre Foundation funds sustainable off-grid real estate projects — land, shelter, energy, water, food, and community — that help families and regions become more independent, resilient, and self-sustaining.
The Origin
OGRE started as a Southeast response to a specific, urgent problem: Florida's insurance crisis, rising flood risk, and housing models that weren't built to last. After 18 months consulting on an off-grid home project — working across investor relations, systems, design, and deployment — the failures of the conventional model became clear. From that experience came a simple, durable conviction: real estate needs to be built beyond the grid. Hurricane proof. Flood proof. Financially independent. Land that feeds, powers, and endures on its own terms.
Mission
OGRE began as a Southeast response to hurricanes, flooding, rising insurance costs, fragile housing models, and grid dependency — and has grown into a broader foundation mission.
Help fund tangible off-grid infrastructure across land, shelter, energy, water, food, education, and resilience. Every dollar goes directly toward field-level projects.
Landowners, operators, builders, and stewards can submit off-grid real estate projects for future funding review and foundation support.
We are building an ecosystem of builders, land stewards, growers, educators, contractors, and donors. Aligned collaborators are welcome.
Support the Mission
The Ogre Foundation is in early stage. A full donation portal is coming soon. For now, this site is designed to present the mission, build credibility, and start the right conversations.
We are setting up our donation infrastructure. Check back soon to contribute directly online.
What We Fund
Donations support real-world systems that help off-grid land become more useful, resilient, and self-sustaining.
Land acquisition, stewardship, and transition support for properties pursuing full off-grid operation.
Hurricane proof and flood proof housing concepts — including next-generation structural designs for Southeast markets.
Solar, battery, microgrid, geothermal loops, and hydro power infrastructure for true energy independence.
Catchment, storage, filtration, irrigation, and redundancy for properties operating off municipal water.
Food forests, regenerative agriculture, greenhouses, and food-security infrastructure on working land.
Workshops, field education, and demonstration sites that show people what off-grid living actually looks like.
Real estate and systems built to withstand flooding, storm surge, power outages, and supply chain disruption.
Interconnected off-grid projects and networks that share resources, knowledge, and infrastructure.
Core Pillars
The foundation views off-grid real estate as an integrated system — not a single product or category.
Stewarding off-grid real estate into productive, resilient, living systems. Land is the foundation of everything.
Supporting durable off-grid housing — including future hurricane proof and flood proof designs built for Southeast resilience.
Solar, battery, backup, microgrid, geothermal loops, and hydro power. Real independence means generating your own.
Catchment, storage, filtration, and irrigation redundancy — because water access should never depend on a utility.
Food forests, greenhouses, permaculture, and regenerative systems that turn land into long-term abundance.
Building toward a network of self-sustaining off-grid projects, demonstration sites, and aligned operators.

Central Florida
📍 Saint Cloud, FL — 53 Acres Off-Grid
One of OGRE's closest collaborative partners, Galt's Landing is a working, breathing demonstration of what off-grid real estate actually looks like in the field. Located 2.5 hours north of Miami near Orlando, this 53-acre property runs permaculture food forests, an off-grid education program, farm tours, volunteer opportunities, workshops, and events. It is run by a practitioner who has built real systems on real land — and that's exactly the kind of operator OGRE exists to support and amplify.

Future Rails
Today, The Ogre Foundation is focused on direct donations and project funding — connecting donors with tangible off-grid real estate projects that need capital. Long term, OGRE is researching financial infrastructure that could make off-grid real estate easier to fund, track, verify, and replicate at scale.
That includes exploring blockchain-enabled project transparency, real-world asset (RWA) frameworks for land and infrastructure, and on-chain funding rails that reduce friction between donors and field-level outcomes. Off-grid real estate is an emerging asset class — and the financial infrastructure to support it properly is still being built.
Tracking tools so donors can see where funds flow and what projects they have supported.
Verifiable progress reports tied to funding disbursements — accountability built into the structure.
Exploring how off-grid land and infrastructure can be represented, verified, and funded through future financial rails.
Building the frameworks that treat productive off-grid land as a legitimate, fundable financial category.
Donate
Donations to The Ogre Foundation support sustainable off-grid real estate projects across land, shelter, energy, water, food, education, and community resilience. The full online donation portal is being built now.
We are building our donation infrastructure. A full online portal supporting card, wire, and crypto is on the way.

Landowners, operators, and builders can submit off-grid real estate projects for foundation review. We look at the property, the people stewarding it, the systems needed, the funding gap, and the community impact.
